We as well see his anxiety through the other dreams. This definitely tells us this boy has anxiety. In this part, after putting the toys together, these jellyfish-things start playing some sort of gong/symbal which causes the boy to freak out when it does it over and over again. Take one particular part in the first dream. The boy throughout the whole game is constantly mumbling and whimpering as if he was anxious about something and all of his dreams/nightmares are related to events that caused this anxiety, like when we are shown a bully who took his ball, he associates toys with evil, as the toys in Dream One are all black and red and all creepy looking. They're all pretty easy to solve so you don't usually get enough time to appreciate them. Yes, there are a fair number of puzzles but they rarely ever last a long time. The game does horror effectively, but it is overall lacking as a game. To add to the horror, some of the puzzles force you to think in a dark manner to solve them. A majority of puzzles are contained and you can figure out what to do through context alone. That is to say, you need to tap on a lot of things, but it never feels overwhelming. They also encourage you to investigate your surroundings as you would in other point-and-clicks. ![]() The solutions can come to you from environmental clues. The puzzles themselves stand out by emphasizing the dream and nightmare themes. TMNT: Shredder's Revenge review - "Retro beat 'em ups are back with a vengeance". ![]()
